Why should I use cloth diapers?
At Maple Leaf Baby, we believe that babies are pure and should be
kept that way. Disposable diapers contain harsh chemicals that
increase your baby's risk for cancer and hormonal problems. Many
people tend to keep disposables on too long, which creates a high risk
for diaper rash.
The environmental benefits of using cloth are many! Not only do cloth
diapers not end up in landfills, but the amount of resources used to
produce disposable diapers over and over is astounding and cannot
even be compared to the minimal amount of water used to wash cloth
diapers (and water is a renewable resource!).
Money-saving benefits cannot be over-looked and are often a, if not the,
major deciding factor in switching to cloth. To find out how much cloth
can save you, and for more cloth diapering information, visit

When deciding if I should choose cloth diapers I thought, "Would I rather wear paper or
cloth underwear?"
